Humidity control

As I've posted in last email, my female panther is gravid.

Now I've bought a Hagen incubation machine and prepared incubation boxes. I checked my posts on incubation. Many people said the 2nd generation Hagen machine will have issues on humidity--always too dry due to its design on ventilation.

So my question is during long incubation circle (6-8 months) how can I well control the humidity by using this Hagen incubation machine? (I will put a electronic humidity meter inside the machine)

1. Can I drop on vermiculite directly (not eggs) to increase humidity
2. Will put a box of water inside (bottom) the incubation work?
3. Shall I take both 1 and 2?
4. What should be the right humidity inside incubation box and machine respectively? Incubation box 100%? Machine 90%?

Thanks in advance!
