Humidifier vs Misting Systems

Just wondering what the difference would be between setting up a humidifier toward the cage vs a misting systems as long as the cham as a drip set up.

They drink from the leaves. Mist systems are better in my opinion. They help hydrate, which is never a bad thing.

i have two of them and personally i love them but misting system will be ur route to go...only time u need a humidifier is when the humidity is below 5% percent as it just there to bring the humidity up nothing more...doesnt provide water with the exception of soem droplets that form on the mesh. i have to agree with pssh and say go with the mister

Right, that is what the drip is for. I was more or less asking as far as the humidity level goes. My cages stay around 60% humidity and they get a hand misting in the am and evening and I fill the drip twice a day. I have a panther and melleri.

with having a panther and a melleri and 60% humidity i personally dont think a humidifier would benefit u in anyway...unless u where trying to keep frogs....i love my humidifier but would trade for a misting system in a heartbeat
