Humidifier Head Loss?

I am thinking about adding a humidifier, but wanted to see if anyone could tell me how high a store bought humidifier (perhaps Crane Ultrasonic) could "push" the mist up tubing? For example, If I wanted to place the humidifier under my enclosure and run tubing from the humidifier up towards the top of my enclosure, around 5ft vertically, would the mist get pushed into the enclosure, or is that too much head loss for it to make up the tubing? Thanks for any input....

I don't have that particular model, but mine is done that way and it works perfectly. I used 7/8 clear vinyl tubing in the corner, zip ties, and it rocks.

Make sure you do not have a drip loop in your hose. Condensation can collect inside the line and cause a sort of cavitation. I bet you have no problem.
