how to tell age?

Is there an easy way of telling how old a male veiled chameleon is???

count the rings around his trunk???? LoL not that i know of, just a guestimate based on size and overall look. can you post pics

- find the exact age from the breeder
- find someone who has roughly a close feeding/suppliment schedual to you and see if they have a log sheet of their chameleon's growth.
- estimate from keeping the species in captivity in previous times
