How to package for a drop off?

Hey guys I need to know how to package a drop off. I have no idea how to. Only shipped. I'll be driving a 13 month panther chameleon (about 13" long) for a good 20-40 minute ride.

Put him in a snake bag or small cooler. Let him fall asleep, then go. If he's in a cooler, a washcloth/paper towel on the bottom would be needed for gripping. Those styrofoam coolers are good.

I would put him in a cardboard box with a towel in the bottom and a branch he can cling to. Once you close the box they will fall asleep. Thats what I do when going to the vet.

There is a member on here that drives her chamelon to the vet on a plant in her car. As long as you are only going for a 20 minute drive that's not too far. I have also heard of people going the other route and putting them inside something that is dark, like a little box so they keep calm.

I don't like branches in the box as they can slide around and hit themselves against it.
