How to Get Him Outside

I have been wanting to take Yoshi outside before it gets too cold, and to see his colors. But it's a little difficult...

He is upstairs, and when he gets to the main floor, he freaks out. Any suggestions as to how to get him outside calmly? He has an umbrella plant but at the moment it is pretty much dead... any advice would help :)
 
Lol Isabella will freak out a little bit when I go up the stairs but nothing major, What do you mean by freak out? What does he do?

What I do with Isabella is get her onto my hand and let her onto my shoulder and just walk. But I always reward her with a treat whenever I take her outside whether most of the time it be a super worm or the occasional wax worm. Maybe bring some treats with you outside? That may help him a bit.

Well he gets puffy and hissy and backs up and scrapes my arm lol... And do you just sit with her on you outside?
 
get yourself a large potted plant. IF you can get her on the plant, then carry her on the plant and then take that outside. Do not leave her unattened outside, especially if it is hot. Not only can she overheat in the sun, she can run away or get eaten by a bird or something.

I would just try to limit contact with anything that may spook him. And there have been a few times where I walk in the dark with Isabella going up the stairs and she doesn't freak out and usually only gets "ancy" as I approach outside but by then she has already lost the battle lol. Once she gets outside though she is totally content just basking away looking like Simba on the lionking rock just chillin with her chest out enjoying the ray. But most of the time when I am out for an hour or longer with her she just sits on my shoulder and I walk around the yard and let her climb on trees that are safe for her. But nothing out of reach of course lol would not be good if she climbed up a tree lmao! :D

LOL that would suck... I have so pictured that before :D I will try to get him out soon.
