How to convince dad to come over and see.....

Hello everyone as most of you know BocaJan on the forums lives in boca raton FL. I really want to go see her chameleons and other reptiles if she has any im not sure, but the problem is my dad thinks people on the internet are wackos and im sure you parents know what i mean. How do you think i can convince him? Its really hard.

Well-I understand how he feels as a parent. I have had many forum members over to my house and met many more at the shows and they are all far from scary. A very professional but fun group we have here! I would say go to the shows-but he might get scared by some of the other crowd that goes there , but all of the people are very nice and many, many families come. That and you might not meet many people there at the same time. Have you Dad call me-I can give him a fairly good run down. I will be at the Tampa show all weekend month end in the FLChams booth.

Dont be in such a hurry and listen to your parents good advice. I doubt anyone here is a wacko, but you never know. It only takes one. Perhaps your father will go with you to meet someone at a public location first, or talk to her/him on the phone first.

well ive met Naomi and have to say she is a very nice person, not a "wacko" at all.

I too have met Naomi and she's a wonderful person. I've been to her house and she's been to mine. Have Naomi give your dad a call and invite your family over to see the baby chams. I will be going down to see them myself very soon. Jann
