How to clean logs and sticks from outside?

I was wondering how to clean sticks and logs from outside. My family and i moved into my new house this summer and we cut down a willow that has some cool sticks. If I shouldn't put sticks from outside in a cage let me know!!

You can clean with ordinary soap and water, try to make sure you rinse it thoroughly with clean water afterwards. I only use sticks from outside 'cos they are cheaper and you can replace them as the cham grows and you can get a better fit for little feet
