how to build a rockwall

There is this stuff called great stuff and it makes a good rock wall.

I started a 2'x3' back wall for my cage and going by this guys method.
Neat stuff, the foam all over the garage was fun, like a christmas snow storm in 80 degree weather
Also the wife loves arts and crafts time, lol
He also used this sealer called "Sheilds All". I cant find it localy, but a gallon of it online is $25 I think (without shipping) which is much cheaper then I have seen the gallons of "Minwax Polycrylic" (like $59 at TruValue) Value my a$$
Good luck and post some pics of the process, mine wont be finished for a while. Booger needs other stuff thats much more important right now.

Here is a link of how my friend Rob builds backdrops. Granted this is for Tarantula enclosures, but this concept will work if you tweak it a bit for chameleons. Also, Rob builds huge versions for tons of Zoos in the US. This backdrop blows away exoterra's backdrops. This is cheap and easy and this method is very professional. If you have any questions pm me and I can help guide you through this. I live in Cincinnati and we are doing this for a display at the local Zoo also. Good luck and best wishes.
