How Tall ?

I've been lurking around Pygmy Enclosures now for a couple of weeks- the idea of a living habitat interest me - I have an exoterra that is being used by my daughter's bearded dragon that is only 12 inches high-(18 depth and 24 long) Would that be tall enough for pygmys ? I was thinking of planting it and seeing if I could get the plants to live- as her dragon has a new and bigger cage ordered. I somewhat doubt that I'll have much luck with the plants - but figured it would be a good idea to have an goal in mind- If not a chameleon any other sugestions ?

That is perfectly suitable for Pygmys. They enjoy more ground space compared to climbing space.

Make sure to monitor temperature and humidity closely. Anything over 80 can be fatal to Pygmys.

If you provide a 6500k and UVB your plants and pygs will be fine.

The more foliage the better. And make sure to have places for then to get out of the light when they wish.

Thanks- I doubt I will try with actual chameleons in it for at least 6 months if ever - I figure the plants have a better chance of making it if I think of it being a future home - but I don't hold out too much hope I've never been very good with plants.

Even if you find the chameleons spending most of the time near the upper edges you could always remove the screen lid and build a screen extension to raise the height.
