How old is Pops!

This is Pops the male veiled chameleon. I received him through a friend of mine that could not take care of him any longer. I believe he was originally purchased through a pet store. He eats very well with a mix of gut-loaded crickets, supers, horns, fruits and veggies. I set up his viv with a decent amount of foliage and a live umbrella tree which he seems to enjoy eating. His basking spot is typically around 90f give or take depending on the day.

I've done quite a bit of research but i still cannot definitively say how old he is. My friend told me 4-5 months, but he seems a bit small for that age. He is around 4.5 - 5 inches nose to vent. If i can have a few opinions on his age it would help me quite a bit!

It's hard to say how old once they reach adulthood which it looks as though he has. It is anybody's guess really after that unless you know how old he was when your friend purchased him or how long he had him.

Sorry I must have missed reading the whole post! If he is 4.5 inches(don't know how I didn't see that) he is younger yes than a year. Although, not every adult Veild is the same size. Maybe anywhere from 6-8 months. I agree with you that he is older than your friend said.
