How often should I feed my chameleon Dubia Roaches?

Hello! I just really need help because I want my panther chameleon, Kraken, to start eating dubia roaches. How often should I feed dubia roaches to him and also any care tips? Thanks. <3

It depends on his age and the size of the roaches. They should be as long as his head is wide.

He is about 8 months old and he can probably eat medium to large dubias.

I use roaches for about half their diet. Sometimes more or less depending what else I have available. My chams are over a year old so they eat every other day. Friday they ate roaches, Sunday it was stick bugs and black soldier flies. They will get roaches and black soldier flies tomorrow and probably superworms and black soldier flies Thursday.

Roaches are a more nutritious feeder than crickets, so they can be a staple if your cham likes them. Just be sure to still give the cham a variety of bugs and vary up the gutload of your feeders once in a while too!
