If your chameleon is eating crickets use them more as a staple and the superworms more of a treat. But you can feed them everyday. If your chameleon is young, make sure the superworms are small.
I feed my Senegal mealworms twice a week for a little extra weight.
I figure you probably have a panther or veiled so I would say 2 or 3 super worms a week would be ok. Carol said up to once a day and I would say that to be about the max. They have a lot of chitin which is difficult to digest.
crickets absolutely are nothing more than roaches with jumping legs! i like that!... and in cases of finikiy eaters its alright to moderate the diet inwhich the chameleon itself makes obvious. i have a male that just hates crickets! i have to give him an appetite for crickets with superworms and various other feeder critters. though he is gorgeous, my male is a pain in the arse'. damn purple bar ambilobes, always trying to be such pains.
Superworms have a high fat content. They should make up no more than 20% of your chameleons diet, and should always be gutloaded.
Some chameleons can get "spoiled" if given too many high fat content foods, and will refuse to eat other healthier insects.
