how much?

Hi guys i was just wondering roughly how much a 4 month old panther should be eating. Red is doing great and when i first got him i was worried he was not eating enough.now im thinking the opposite. everyday i feed him as much as he will eat. He is cup trained so i have an exact count on how many crickets he eats daily. i have some dubias and a selection of yummy worms in the mail as i think he's big enough to handle then now so he will have more variety but right now he is on medium brown crickets dusted with calcium without d3 daily and multi vits and calcium with d3 twice a month. For the past few weeks he's eating between 30 and 40 gut loaded crickets a day is this too much should i stop feeding so much or is this normal and he just needs bigger feeders? I want to make shred im not going to give him any health problems. any help would be great thanks.

If your guy is eating between 30 - 40 crickets :)eek:) a day, then that is okay for a young guy. You may want to move up to a larger cricket - they may prove to be more 'filling', but remember the cricket should be no larger than the space between your cham's eyes.

Got pics of your guy? Would love to see him!!

This is Red my little baby :) he is eating me out of house and home that's why i was getting worried lol i'm just glad he's healthy and eating lots :). The crickets are about the width of his head just now but i'm going to try some small dubia's maybe they will be more filling :)

Hmm I may be wrong but last pic looks like female coloration.

Yes, the last pic at first appearance does look like female colouring but upon closer inspection you can see he's 'coming into' his colors at the top ridge of his back!

He's beautiful!! Keep up the good work!! :)

Yeah he looks very light in the last photo. It was taken just after a shower so i think he was a bit cold and not a happy bunny :) i adore him, and hes really friendly too. Think i got lucky with him he's awesome :)
