How much does you chameleon move around its cage? mine moves back and fourth from its heat lamp to its uvb lamp and never has gone below halfway down.

That's normal, chameleons don't usually like to go down to the floor. So do, but most don't, at least not regularly.

How hot is his hottest temp? Maybe if he's a little cold he will be reluctant to explore away from the heat?

Mine moves all over his cage and always has from top to bottom and explores all over the place. Do you have enough avenues for him to move all over easily? He doesn't walk on the bottom but will go on branches that extend down to the cage floor.

my little camo moves all over his home but does not really ever goto the bottom. Today i caught him walking upside down on the caged top. crazy little guy

82 is the highest temp and she can move around easy two vines and 4 plants

my little girl moves around most of the time but she does love basking haha so shes usually basking when i see her in her cage unless i put some more feeders into the cup she usually comes over after i put it in to see whats there

My panther hardly moves. Every now and then he will pop over to a different tree/plant but generally doesn't move. He does habitually go to the base of his ficus tree every morning after he wakes up. Some of the others move a lot and others not so much.
