well im mostly asking out of curiosity because i take out all uneaten crickets and leave a piece of fruit on the bottom of the cage in case i miss a few but id also like to know if it would be serious damage. my guy is about 3-4 months old. also what do cricket bites look like?
You don't want to see the picture I've seen of a poor pygmy that had it's whole eye eaten out.......
Try to make sure there aren't any crickets left in the cage overnight when he is sleeping. It is quite unlikely that there will be a problem, he should be safe in the branches. If it does go bad though the consequences can be horrible.
I can't see too clearly, but those could be cricket bites, a little bruise from a knock, or maybe even a spot where some cricket juices landed on him. If they don't clear up soon, or if they grow or spread then take more pics.
Maybe just because the surrounding skin got lighter, maybe they are even normal colouring and he's going to get a couple of little 'beauty spots'. Nothing to be too worried about yet still
