From what i understand, chameleons are among the finickiest of eaters in the reptile kingdom.
I have a little senegal...he weighs in at right around 8 grams. I've noticed that there is a certain ebb and flow to his appetite. He'll eat 8-10 crickets and a wax worm one day, then 1 cricket and 1 waxworm the next day. Is this normal?
Furthermore, he seems to dislike the vitamin supplement...He won't eat a dusted cricket but will eat one that's not. I have been gut loading the crickets with a mix of greens, carrots and bell peppers. What should i do? Should i offer him only dusted crickets and wait until he's hungry?
It seems to me that i'm always worrying, but i've come to realize that this is an inevitability of chameleon keeping
