Three times a week would actually be too frequent, as far as vit D3 is concerned. Too much is harmful, but they do need a little in their diet to supplement what they're getting from their light.
Do you have a phosphorous-free plain calcium without D3? This is what most of us use to dust our feeders lightly nearly every feeding. I dust all of them lightly, personally. And then give him the D3 twice monthly.
Since your handsome guy seems to have a bit of a calcium deficiency (his front arms curve a little) I recommend giving him calcium religiously every day, every feeding. And just dust all of them, so you make sure that his calcium levels get back up to a good level. Don't make the insects look like ghosts, but make sure he's getting a good dose of it every day.
