rule of thumb is they should only be housed together if theyre mating or young juvies.
i too see it all the time but that dosnt mean its okay.
personally if i lived in hawaii i wouldnt even bother with keeping them captive.
i dont know why so many people from hawaii do.
what i would do is just build a really nice garden make it nice and ideal for them. collect a bunch and leave then loose in your garden. maybe work on hand feeding them so they come to see you when youre around.
maybe even buy a misting system. i see people buy them for patios for hot day. it can give you a dual function, cool you off on hot days and make staying in your garden even more appealing.
well thats what i would do.
saves money and you can keep more than one in the same area since they always have the option of escaping.
