How many?

I would feed him/her as many as it will eat daily until it gets to be adult size (approx 6 to 8 months) then reduce feedings to every other day. what type of cham? male or female?

i have 1 male and 1 female low white veiled chams..my female loves these locusts and so does my male but he seems to be getting skinnier and i don't know why..i have cup feed him and watched him eat but is not putting weight on even though he is eating about 7 or 8 a day and doesn't seem to be growing. He is 3 months old and starting to think the breeder sold me a runt of the litter as they where quite cheap breeding pair too, i got them for 45 for both..the female is VERY well and is growing fine and am worried as to comparison between these chams.

if he is only 3 months old you should feed him as much as he can eat a couple times a day. if you want him to put on some weight feed him waxworms more often as they are high in fat.

I very well be nothing. At that age the should be growing right along but mine do seen to have growth spurts. maybe your female is just having a growth spurt? Other than that, maybe the male has a parasite. Might want to have a fecal done.

Are they caged together?

yeah they are caged together at the moment till i get my 26w uv delivered next week for my other viv,,i know he doesn't have a parasite as he is only 12 weeks old..he just shedded today which is a good sign :) eat loads of crickets as it would have cost too much to buy locusts as you only get about 15 in a box :( but i have tried feeding waxworms, silkworms and butterworms but seems to not like any worms unless he is eating them while i am not looking but he does eat the crickets and locusts i provide..

When my male/female were caged together when they were young ~2-3 months each my male would out eat the female, but never grew.

I'd guess this is the same problem here.

After separating them, he went on some crazy growth spurts.

i hate delivery's as it takes so long but it is a hell of alot cheaper and i have ordered so much for them at the price i would pay just for the bulb..do you think i should give him extra calcium with d3 than my female? or just still 2 times a month?..thanx..
