How many is to many?

How many crickets should I feed my Cham? I feed him until he stops eating. Is that bad? How many should I be feeding him. He's about 4 months old as well. 8 inches from base of the tail. Help!

Welcome to the forums. What kind of chameleon do you have? At 4 months old I'd probably give him all he can eat in about 3 minutes with a couple left over for later. He needs to eat more than just crickets. He needs a large variety of well gut loaded feeders. Try some small dubia or discoid roaches. Also add some worms to his diet. My guys love silkworms, hornworms, Butterworms, Phoenix worms and superworms. Chameleons also like food that flies. Try some blue bottle flies.
