Cant really judge by the quality of the pics.

Best thing to do is weigh him weekly. That will tell you if he is eating enough. If he starts losing weight, that could be a sign something is off whether is is in your husbandry or something going on with him specifically.

3-4 crickets may be all he needs but you will need to study him to be sure.

Make sure his husbandry is spot on to help his appetite be what it needs to be.

how am i gonna get him on the scales???

You need a digital scale. Place a bowl or container large enough to put him in on it first and press "Tare" on the scales. this will bring it back to zero. Place him in the container and wallahh you have his weight :)

judging just by the last pic, he looks like a subadult, yound adult.
He could eat a bit more but and def needs to catch up of drinking... Try spraying a ton, a drip system and even a mysting system in play.
You should also try food items that are a bit healthier then just crickets for him. Silks and roaches!!!! He will put on much more weight, and there is much less phosphorus in silks and roaches.

My jacksons lights turn on at 6 am, since i noticed thats when they are up and about. They also sleep pretty early, at 6pm.

there is no way he is a sub adult he can still fit in my hand i say he is around 4-5 months

:D Hello and congrats. I would use a bowl or perch of some kind. He'll be more cooperative with remaining still. I agree with working on his hydration and maybe post your info to get advice from more experienced members. I'll add the link for the questionnaire and then some important info to read when you have time.
