Ok so let me ask this, I know for sure now that he is about 1 1/2 months old, I have offered him about 10 crickets a day of which he eats half or less, is that about right? (Veiled for those of you who aren't already familiar) I have found it hard to find a specific answer for this in both books I have read and on the net. Maybe I haven't been looking in the right place?

Kinda depends how big the crickets are
I would say ten small crickets is fine, and you could give him something else in addition to the crickets, like a silkworm or a small superworm

Ok well he ate almost 10 today so we are definatelly on the right track, also got a drip system and live plants!! He is in heaven now! Way more confident and active WhaT a diffrence! *slowly tasting sucess as a new owner and had a super day for communication with him too!*

At that age I was feeding about 5 or 6 small crickets twice a day. I never ever found any roaming around that weren't eaten. He grew like a weed.

At a month old each one of my veiled babies were eating 15 to 18 1/8 to 1/4 inch crickets a day plus a few house flies or baby dubia.
