how many crickets are too many

my little 6 month old veiled came home from a reptile trade show yesterday. since than he has eaten almost 15 small crickets and about 5 meal worms. i am a new owner and the seller said he hadn't feed them that day. how much should he be eating?

At 6 months that might be a little to many, but if you say they were small that is probably fine. 6-12months start feeding them about 8-12 mediam crickets, you want to slow down their bone growth to help prevent MBD, when they are younger (birth -5/6months) it is fine. Dont worry, your lil guy is all good

whats MBD?
and i am glad, i was wondering he has meal worms at all times but crickets once a day, plus he eats so much and i haven't seen him poop yet unless its in the leaves, and his stomach never gets bigs after his meals. his name suits him, he is magic.

MBD is metabolic bone disease. Google, it youlls ee pics of chams with bent arms, legs etc.
He shouldnt be eating mealworms every day. they are not a daily feeder.

my little guy got his 5 multi vitim (he only gets those once a week) crickets.

He does not look to be 6 months old, I would say more like 3 months and maybe younger. Hes a fab eater and as cute as can be...congrats. At 3 months old Ozzie was eating at least 30 pin heads a day.

I wouldn't use that waterfall because that is a death sentence for your crickets if they get in there and drown and also it would be bad for your chameleon to drink out of it with a dead cricket in it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOpm0DV6WUc&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL

he looks like three months? the guy didn't tell us it was at a trade show? how can i tell?

they don't live long enough to get into the waterfall, but i clean it often so far 3 days inbetweens
