how long is water usable?

i bought a 5 gallon bucket for my mistking.im misting for 2 min. 4times a day and its not using much water.seems to me water in the bucket will last a least 2weeks.will water be ok to use then? thanks

yes the water should be fine as long as you keep it covered. if any light gets in the water, and i mean any, then algea will grow in it so make sure to keep the lid on the bucket
