Hi - I am new to the forum. I wonder if anyone can tell me how long female slender and flap-necked chameleons remain receptive for and how often they 'come into oestrus' or whatever the chameleon equivalent is? I am trying to breed both in outside vivaria in tropical Africa and assume that the receptive period is timed to coincide with the two rainy seasons we have. I am not sure what to look for though and don't want to leave the males with the females permanently.
