Hi, im just wondering how long you can keep chameleons together for (age wise) i have a two month old panther and i wanted a male but i am also looking to breed in the future, im going to a reptile expo but i dont have enough to get both a cham and a cage so i was just wondering how long can babies be housed together for? it will only be about a week till i could get another cage.

i see lots of pictures where breeders have the babies all in one bin or cage and they look to be the same age as mine.

Any response would be great! :)

Hold him up to a mirror, if he puffs up, he doesnt want a friend. At 5 months, mine would puff up at the bearded dragon, but not at his refection.

I actually took her out before i posted that to clean her cage and she loves sitting on my shoulder and when i stood infront of the mirror she seemed almost interested at what she saw. She went a pretty white and looked relaxed

you can buy one and have it shipped to you..

and you may not even find any good looking panthers there at all.

the two expos ive been too, only had one adult male panther, some juvi females, and veileds, and senegals, and jacksons.

Im just stating my opinion, you can do what you would like to, but unless its one of the big shows, like NARBC, or the one down in daytona FL, it more than likely wont have much..

many of the people on this forum have panthers for sale, and will ship them. shipping overnight is only 30-60 bucks, depending on where its being shipped from and to.

the site sponsors are good as well.

i mean, you should go to the show, its a great experience, and you can pick up some bugs, or supplements, and its just fun..

:D
