How long after starting to dig should female panther lay

Hi, I was wondering when a female panther should lay after she started digging. My female has been digging for a while about a week now and has made numerous tunnels but hasn't laid anything. She still seems healthy in every way and is drinking plenty but isn't eating at the time. Any advice or info would be awesome

Was she bred? What date was that? Then average they will lay eggs 25 to 40 days after mating with a male!

My female dug twice 26 days after mating and laid 34 eggs!

What has she got to dig in? Is it eco earth or sand? Is it moist enough for her? She may not be happy with the site. My first female didn't eat for 10 days before laying and she dug test holes for 3 days before digging properly on the fourth day. I use a mix of eco earth and play sand that is damp enough to hold a tunnel. Also, if she sees you watching she may think it's not a 'safe' place which would cause her to start another hole.

Well put! Good info!:D

Hey thanks everyone for the info and replies. She actually laid 18 eggs today, my first clutch and excited for the future. Thanks again for the info
