He is doing much better.
Two more days of Baytrill left.
He is climbing around now using all 4 feet, he even wanted to come out and play on the free range yesterday.
His arms and legs are stronger, and has a good grip.
I have been giving him warm sponge baths every day befor re-applying the ointment the vet gave me.
I was in process of giving him is oral Baytril dose, gloves on and syringe in hand, and he turned to face me, looked straight into my eyes, and opened him little mouth, as if in anticapation!
Of course, by the time I got the syringe to his mouth, he closed it, but it was so cute, I didnt know whether to laugh or cry!!
He had not eaten anything for over a week (he is drinking though) so I made some bug puree for him, got his moth open, and he took 3cc of it.
Put the rest in the freezer. Had to use like 2 dozen cricks, a few fat silkies, and a bit of Pedilyte, all smashed up, and squeezed thru a strainer (Ummmm!!).
Thank you so much for asking about him![]()
