I wana bring him outside but it has been in the high 90's the past few days. How hot can it be outside for them to be comfortable.:) IDK why there's a sad face next to the title lol

It'll depend on the type of cham. Adult panthers and veileds can do mid to upper 90's no problem. Make sure to provide shade and lots of misting if you do take them out in that kind of heat...

I'm glad someone else asked this. I was wondering the same. I live in Ohio and we have been hovering around 85 with about 75 to 85% humidity. I would love to take him out but I check his homelands temps (Madagascar) and they are around mid to high 70's with 80% humidity. Any input would be great!:)

Shoot! That's perfect! If there is direct sunlight, he/she would be in heaven under those conditions... :)

So its 102 degrees out and 44% RH. Is that to much? Or can I just put him under our patio. Its not screened in either but its the only shade I can find around the house. And i have a veiled chameleon, around 4-5 months old.

What kind of cham and how old? 102 degrees in the sun would probably be around 88-92 in the shade. I would do some serious misting and watering.

veiled cham, 4-5 months old.

Basking temp of 90 or below would be best with areas considerably cooler to escape the heat. You're probably pretty close in the shade, but again, I'd monitor his behavior and mist more than normal...

Eh, i might just wait for another day that will be more humid and cooler and let him free range under his heat lamps. What SHOULD the temp and humidity be outside that will be just right for a veiled.

So 99 and 110 heat index in NC is too dog gone hot for any Chameleon and too dog gone hot for me!!!! Do they make a personalized Mist King? Set mine for continuous spraying! ;)

Or if you have a water hose you could put a nozzle on it and tape the handle and just angle it above his enclosure or plant or whatever. Idk the water might be to cold but it would prolly feel good in that kinda heat.
