Lol.... That cannot be comfortable. One of the first pictures I ever took of Thalin was an odd sleeping position. At the time he was 4 months I believe, he is now almost 2 and hasn't had a funny sleeping position since this night.
That's hilarious! My Jax Ferdinand once fell asleep on the side of the couch. Such a cutie. We had been looking for him for over an hour and found him downstairs in the billiards room.
He would puff up and roll off the edge of each hard wood stair to get down there. I assume he never thought about what he would do if he wanted to go back up. Dummy.

I'm sorry you lost him.We would try to block the stairs (I was always worried he would hurt himself), but it's almost impossible to dissuade a determined chameleon. I miss Ferds - he was a really special guy.
Oh gosh, it looks so impossible that they can hold themselves by the tip of their tails, especially while sleeping... It looks hilarious indeed! This is how my Nosy Faly, Durza, fell asleep last week while I was letting him go on a walkabout. He is one of the craziest chameleons I have ever had the pleasure of caring for!!
I thought it was hilarious how is back legs were just poking out!

So did you like let him roam around freely in the house? I'm always so worried that Moya gets stuck in somewhere and hurts herself so I'm always stalking her like crazy
Oh yeah got it. Yup I know that. When I'm watching her she stays put, not a single move, but I turn for half a sec and she's already under and in and on top of everything. I once had to search for her half an hour (literally), I even looked out my window even though I know it's impossible to get out (it's on the roof, nothing to get there), I made a whole mess just to find her behind my desk munching on something (I could get it all out of her mouth, thankfully). She climbed up on my phone charger. Long story short, she's a sneaky little ladyWe did try to keep on eye on him when he was out. We let him out almost every day for an hour or two. Every once in awhile, he would get all sneaky and make a break for it, and it was always my fault for not keeping a better eye on him. Chameleons are surprisingly fast when you're not looking. Slow as mud when you're in a hurry, tho![]()
