How expensive

Being as genuine as possible, can I ask what you do for a living? You have managed to acquire 11 chams who live in their own trailer as you put it..and have been asking about oustalets for a month or so now which run a couple grand easy.. Just wondering since I think you are only 19 (I think)? More power to you man, really.. not raggin on ya at all (seriously).. I just was curious.:)

Hey are you sure you mean oustalets and not parson? I don't off hand know prices on oustalets but it is no where near $2000.

I found an oaslet on craiglist for 500 w/ the cage and lights........What is so speacil about oaslet Chameleons?? Are they endangered?

In general oustaletis aren't expensive. But it depends on the age, if they are cb or wc, what sex they are etc.
I think for 2000$ you could import two douzens of them;)

I just bought a CH pair from Jim at Chameleoncompany not too long ago for 150 with shipping:D I am surprised at the price tag on these guys. Being CH you would think that they would be much more expensive but again they cant make you the big bucks the panthers can:rolleyes: so I dont think they are as popular.

Whoops.. Yea, parsons..Sorry, it was early.:) Thanks for catching that..:)

Parsons I meant.. are they expensive or what!? Sheesh!

Googles, if you are interested, we have a ton of site sponsors who carry these. You can also check Kingsnake.com but I would run by Fauna first to make sure you arent dealing with a scammer.

Yeah i have never said i wanted a Parson any time soon, i did say i want to buy one in about 4 years.

I think you need to slow down.

I catn ask how much certain chams usually go for? lol i even said i wasnt going to buy em i was curious, but i am not interested in them my Gf saw an adult and she liked it so i might get it for her birthday in bvasically a year.

Well your motives seemed clear enough. All I'm saying is that you should take care of what you have and be 100% sure that you can take care of them, then move on to another species.

Maybe you should wait longer than a year IMHO.

Even if i dont take care of it? it would be for her, at her house...... its 100% not for me at all, i dont like how they look.

Well obviously you aren't going to change your mind.

Yeah, because i dont want it, my gf might want it and i am not 100% getting one for her. I dont know if she would want a pet especially a chameleon. But i can tell you 100% i am not getting one for myself. I dont think it matter to you show, no offense.

You know that chameleons are definitly not a good birthday present ? Your girlfriend needs much more than the chameleon, she need a giant tank (this species is very large), the lighting which isn't cheap, books, plants etc etc...

Yeah i read a little bit on em and i think i read that they can gro up to 48'', am i close or did i misread?

They can get around 24"-mine are large but not that large. They have large appetites and like to drink. Mine are happiest outside here lounging poolside. They are shy and like me to mind my own business. They don't even want to have anything to do with each other or I should have had baby Oustalets by now. They are always priced from $50-$100.00.
