Hi everybody,
My chameleon has had some white discharge around her nostrils the past two days and has been slightly lethargic (I think...her bugs are gone so I believe she's still hunting and eating). I've been reading it could be excess salt being discharged but I have some experience with RIs doing the same thing. She's not wheezing or popping and I have accidentally over-dusted her bugs the past couple day. Is there a difference in colouration or ease of cleaning between salt discharge and RI discharge? In other critters I've noticed more yellow colouration but are chameleons the same?
She's also been by a window since I got her but I've moved her because I was worried it was a respiratory infection from getting too cold. I'm still pretty new to this chameleon thing. I'm used to desert critters. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thx
