How do you attach vines to mesh enclosure?

Newbie, obviously. What methods are used to attach vines/etc to a mesh habitat? Just how strong is that stuff? I've read about thumbtacks for branches (assume you thumbtack through mesh), fishing line (do you put through mesh or around the frame?). Setting up habitat for my soon to be picked up Panther!
Thank you.

I use tacks but I have a screen enclosure. If you are using a soft mesh enclosure I would think you would need to secure it with fishing line or florist twine.

Sorry I didn't answer you question. Yes you cut the branches so the fit snugly, then push tacks from the outside through the screen into the end of the branch. Same thing with fishing line but I think you would need to drill small holes through the end of the branch to be sure it was secure. I've never used the soft mesh enclosures so I'll let someone else answer on securing it to the frame. In mine I do not.

I used small wire on a spool. Just wrap it around the branch end like a twist tie then thru the small cage holes and twist it together on the outside.

I just weave the ends/thin parts into the screen. I get the vines with wire in them, Lee's I think they're called. Yeah, Lee's Vine Herb Habitat, just checked. For branches I'm using fishing line for thicker/heavier branches, thumbs for lighter ones. You could also wind the vines around the branches and plants.

Soft mesh, no clue.

Thanks

Thank you. I said mesh but I guess meant screen! ReptiBreeze. Sounds like they must be sturdier than they look. Thanks again for the replies.

I use a Small drill bit, and drill through one side of the branch and out the other. I then use florist wire and run it through and tie it off on the outside of the cage. I found drilling the hole makes it more secure than just wrapping it around the branch.
