How do I stop my chameleon from humping me?

My veiled is roughly a year and a half old, and he’s suddenly just started to try to have his way with me. It’s pretty hilarious, but it’s starting to happen every time I have him out. He’s a chameleon who loves to come out and be social, he’ll run down his branches when you walk past his tank and will scratch the glass until you get him out. I love having him out and giving him all the attention, but now he seems to be enjoying that attention too much ? I’ve read it’s pretty common for chameleons to mate with their owners, but what can I do to prevent this? Is there a period of time he’s going to do this for before he stops trying to have his way with me? Thanks!

Hahaha that’s hilarious. I might try this ? Will he become less sociable if he mates or become aggressive?

Now that's just silly. Chameleons don't wear gloves.... They wear MITTENS!
