how do i keep everything secure?

ohkay so i just bought a new 36"X18"X18" screen cage .... how do i attach the wooden branches etc attached to the cage? i know with my vines i can use twist ties Or the plastic ties but what about everything else? and what live plant would your recommend putting in it? i was thinking an umbrella plant but im not sure if it would fit in it & still have extra room for everything else...any ideas or advice?

These r sum plant that I like to use..
Popular plants used are schefflera, ficus benjamin, hibiscus and pothos.

Some people use thumb tacks to hold the branch up but you gotta be careful its not sticking out, so it wont hurt your chameleon.
Other than that I just drill small holes big enough for my zip tie and I zip tie it to my screen that way

if the branches are extra long and you want to lay them horizontally then try and wedge them in. All my branches were bought custom for my cage so most of them fit but they will stay if you just wedge them against the screen. Make sure that they are tight and secure for the chams weight. You can also use push pins to hold the branches in place horizontally. Push it through the screen into the end of the branch and do that on both ends to suspend it.

I use the reptile twisty vine to keep my branches secured unless they're leaning in a corner and don't shift. I have cages with plants and some without. Honestly the ones without live plants are easier to maintain in my opinion, but maybe that's because I just can't keep plants alive. Sometimes you have to get creative to make everything fit nicely. Here are what two of my cages look like (right has a schefflera, left has all artificial because his hibiscus died a tragic death).

P.S. before anyone comments on my use of CFLs - I have tubes and the fixtures for them, just waiting for these bulbs to expire first since they were expensive.

I keep a couple of super sturdy branches wedged between opposite sides, with tacks for even more support, then I build off of them using twisty vines to support the other branches. You can also use twisty ties on vines if you want to use those as the base you build off of.

i just use wire like twist ties. i just put it through the cage and twist it. i like hibiscus but they are hard to keep alive indoors. ficus tends to be to weak especially when they are youg get a cuttling of it so it is thicker.
