Ok its now in the 50's here in the rust belt. I will not feed cherpers to the chams in the cages (its the same room i sleep in). Is there a temp i can keep the crickets at to really slow down the growth rate like you can meal worms in the fridge? he wont eat anything smaller than a 3/4", and within 2 weeks they are all cherping.
I really dont want to grow him on dubia and meal worms all winter, but i cant think of any other feeders that will stay alive several months, and winter food delivery never really works out.
Why cant they be like my beardys, goto sleep when the clocks change, and not wake up till after the new year. or tegus that sleep 6 months out of the year. or my buddies turtles that he just puts in a box in fall and cracks it open again in the spring.
