How big is your monitor?

At work everyone is in competition for the biggest or greater number of monitors attached to their data acquisition systems -- our now retired senior research leader would not let us call them computers because according to him that was what our brain was for. We did not buy computers, we purchased acquisition systems.

This past weekend I had one of my son’s techno geek friends come set up our 55” LED “monitor”. I can now surf the net in high def. It’s awesome…… Pygmy chams the size of plates… :D:D:D

I bet you all thought I was talking lizard speak.:p

I use my 42" plasma tv to surf the web in my room. I've got a wireless mouse and keyboard and it works for me, haha.

i can plug my laptop into my HD TV projector and go up to a 172" in screen in HD, but thats just being ridiculous. LOL

Actually I really like my Droid. It does everything a computer does :) well just about. I have a laptop but I rarely touch it.
 
I have an apple tv which means I can stream anything off my computer to my flat screen tv. I can sit in the living room with my I pad and I am good to go. I am just lucky that hubby makes all of it work together for me. He even set up all my pictures on I photo as a slide show when I am not watching anything on the tv. So even when I am just streaming music to the tv I get a random slide show to go with it. I get to see all the chams I have ever owned every day, bigger that life in hd. How great it that?

I have a small monitor but I leave it turned on 24/7 year round to compensate! :D

Never had any kind of flat screen until I got my desktop - and we don't get cable so I wouldn't be able to use it for TV regardless of if I wanted to or not. :eek:

I always get the question, "what?! no cable?!" Yup, we are "out of the area" for cable, internet, etc. We are stuck using phone internet. :'(
 
Ha Ha!! That's funny! Here I was going to say 5 feet and 4 feet long (respectively) and come to find out you're not even speaking my language.... ;)
