Hello,
I will be a first time Chameleon owner and am going to be setting up a 48x24x24 for a male or female Panther. Before he/she grows, I'm not sure what size enclosure to purchase. The Panthers I've been looking at are about 6"-7" and ? 4-5 months old. (I need to get exact dates) Are they too small to put right into the large enclosure? I don't want to spend a ton for something temporary and don't want to stress them out by changing environments again. Is there any danger in introducing one to the large enclosure?
Thanks in advance.

You could put a temporary divider in the large cage. Some people also use a smaller Reptarium temporarily. Reptariums are not that expensive, and you can make use of the same lighting setup, just add to the original plants, keep it for outdoor basking sessions or short term housing, etc.
