I ordered some giant houseflies from one of our sponsors on here and call me dumb but I thought I was getting "LIVE" houseflies? No I got eggs or as it looks like ...excuse the french but mouse turds! Sorry I have no idea what to do with these and any help would be much appreciated? I am not complaining but just stumped on what to do with these:confused: I think what I got is called Pupae in saw dust?

When they hatch and you are ready to feed them out a good trick is to stick them into the refridgerator for a few minutes. This makes them slow down and usually unable to fly so it is easier to get them into your cage.

I feed flies to my praying mantids :)

Well I went out of town to see Sugarland in Concert and when I got back last night about 10 had hatched ( so cool!) so I put the whole container in Ozzies habitat and cracked the top just a bit to let them fly out and they are actually pretty slow moving so in a matter of 2 seconds Ozzie ate all of about 10 that had hatched. I will be buying more of those for sure.
