House hold lights

So I was wondering been seeing people on here use house hold lights is this safe???

We almost all use the regular house bulbs (not the coil energy efficient ones) for basking.

But they don't take the place of UVB.

you still need two bulbs.

Depends on what temp you're trying to reach, and on the room temperature itself. I used 75 in the winter and 60 in the summer to get 82. Different light fixtures change things too. You'll have to experiment
