House fly

So joshes frogs offers house fly larvae and I was wondering how good they are as feeders? I know chameleons love flying insects but I was wondering if house flies are nutritious to see if I should buy any?

They are also marketed as "blue bottle" and they are a great feeder. You can gut load them, but its a pretty nasty concoction.

While udderly disgusting if soaked in cotton ball...

bee pollen
powdered milk
honey
molasses
fruits
fruit juice
reptile vitamins dissolved in some of the above.

What do you mean by underlying disgusting? Like their poop or?

Well crap, i thought it was a generic term, blue bottles are good eatin, guess common house fly is 1/4 the weight.
That’s good cuz I have a younger cam I was wondering if they are actually nutritious tho or if they are more of a treat feeder
