Here is my favorite gold stripped maroon clown and it's host.

One of my favorites too. However, I really like the snowflake clowns and the
ORA Black Ice Snowflake (Amphiprion ocellaris)

Ive never seen those before!! The black ice is awesome! Its amazing how the snowflake is almost completely white!

I had a pair of snowflakes and they would not use a host anemone at all. So I sold them. I have to have clowns that use hosts.

Exactly! It is a symbiotic relationship between the anemone and the clownfish. The anemone is the host. The tentacles of the anemone sting most fish. However, the clownfish is immune and thus uses the anemone as a host / house. They guard their host with serious aggression. My dad"s clown will physically bite and draw blood if you get your arm to close to his anemone while cleaning the tank, but we love him any way.
