Hornworms

Tomatoes are part of the deadly nightshade family but we eat them. I think I will get some tomato plants for hornworms. There is a Sphinx moth here that lays the eggs. Our chams can neutralize venom of wasps and bees so we think plant toxins are a problem?

What is the hornworm eating from Timberline culture. It is some brown stuff at top of jar.

Hornworms will eat anything!
I feed mine carrots and lettuce coated in the same gut-load I give the crickets. 20-25 large hornworms will devour a head of lettuce overnight!

mine eats pumkin leaves and sometimes eats peppers
