Hornworm Pods

Hornworm Pods are now available at Coastal Silkworms if anyone is interested.

Each pod contains 12+ hornworms and enough food to grow them to full size at over 3" long and the cost is $9.98 per pod.

I might have to give them a try now that I can get them locally and I like the pod idea where I don't have to fuss and find food for yet another feeder insect. I have a shelf full of silkworms, superworms and crickets boxes now!

I swear I spend more time taking care of the feeders then my panther.

The pods are pretty cool ... I have silkworm pods. The only thing is that the last time I had silkworm pods mine slowed down on eating them and after a week or so they had eaten most of their food and it started to mold in there. YUCK. But they are really convenient.

Its possible you werent keeping them at an appropriate temperature.
