This is probably a dumb question but.....Do hornworms in a pod need air? I just got my shipment today and know they have been on the road a few days in a box. Do they need air while they are waiting to be eaten?

mine lived fine they didnt have that much air flow like the bottom was a deli cup lid with a few dime sized holes and like cheese cloth kinda they grow so fast i hatched them from eggs ad in two weeks i started getting some cacoons they poop ALOT but no they dont really get all that much air

You may want to prop up the pod (because it is supposed to be upside down) so that they can get air. I just made 3 portions of horn food, blegh!
