Any idea what I can do with them? I'm trying to find someone to buy them. We bought 26 and 6 of them got way too big before Calvin could eat them. They're probably about as long as her. I don't know what else to do with them. I also just learned they turn into moths!:eek: here is a picture of them.

So, that exact thing happened to me. They got too big too fast. I turned their cup upside down in a pot of dirt. They dropped down, one at a time, and buried themselves into the dirt. After a week, I dug them out to put in a designated bowl so I could keep track of them. They are now in a pupae state in a bowl of moist dirt sitting on my kitchen table lol. I don't know how long this part takes, but I'm pretty sure the moths can't be missed... it's supposed to be ginormous

See, situations like this is the biggest reason I got a bull frog. I never get this problem anymore. They're vacuums.

Well, that is a problem solver for sure!

Between my breeding colony of roaches under my bed and the maggots in the fridge, I thing the metamorphosis of bhw's on the dining table is the least of my worries lol

I have only ever got the hawkmoth to half emerge from the cocoon then it died. For me they all seem to die as cocoons as well.
