Home made incubator?

Does anyone have any plans, or pictures that they would like to show of their home made incubators? I really need to figure one out soon! Thanks!!!!! :D
 
For panthers/veileds I generally just keep them in area(s) of my home that have the desired temperatures. I did make a makeshift incubator for some quail eggs I was trying to hatch though. I just used a styrofoam cooler, some felxwatt heat tape that I had (with a dimmer on it to control temps) and a deli cup with water crystals in it for humidity. I cut out a small square and replaced it with plastic so I could see inside. I also poked some holes to allow some air. It could work for panther/veiled eggs, as long as you don't need to lower the temps. Of course, I tested it out for a week or so to make sure the temps were okay and didn't change.
 
Yeah I have an igloo cooler that I am trying to put a heating pad under, but the temps are I'm the 90ies. I don't think that is good foe veiled eggs.

I have made them in past and am about to do a new one. I plan on using a plastic cabinet from Lowes $59.00 or possibly the larger size $79.00,construction foam insulation with the foil type backing purchased also from lowes in 4x8 sheets. It will be heated using FlexWatt Heat tape and controlled by a thermostat. Go to incubatorwarehouse.com and they even have a video about how to put together the flex watt as well as a cheep thermostat. I am using small computer type fans to circulate the air inside I have everything but the cabinet and was going to build it today but woke up with a bad crick in my neck so I will probably wait until one night this week or wknd. I will post pictures of it throughout the process in case anyone want's any ideas.
 
I am looking for a cheap way to just keep the temps where they need to be. Does anyone have any crazy ideas that they want to throw at me?

Very simple take a 10 gallon fish tank fill it with 2-3 gallons of water and place a submersible fish tank heater in the water. Place a lid on the tank to hold in the heat and humidity. These heaters come with a built in thermostat. Set a few bricks in the tank so that you can place your eggs in the tank not in the water. This is one of the most simple and successful ways all you need is a tank and a submersible heater.

Thats a very good idea,how did the humidity do ? were you able to hatch eggs using this incubator? I like the idea,very simple,cheep and easy to do. What type eggs did you hatch?
 
To adjust the humidity use more or less ventilation on the top. Or an air stone. I hatched snake eggs using this method but for my chams I just put them into tuperware with vermiculite and put them in the closet.
