Home Depot or Lowes?

Well, this weekend I get paid and I am going out of town.. Just my luck

There goes my paycheck. But it's going toward some new lights that are needing to be replaced. Haven't upgraded since February.

But.. What I was wondering.

Is Home Depot or Lowes still carrying Hibiscus, Ficus and Schefflera Arboricola plants? I am really needing to upgrade to new plants for a decent price hoping for some nice deals on giant plants.

So. If any of you have any knowledge if your local Home Depot or Lowes is carrying these plants, it is much appreciated. c:

Zac

I want to get some extra stuff for my cages, but not sure. D:

Home Depot here in So. Florida has Scheffleras (niice ones) for $7 each.. they are like 2.5-3' tall

That is somewhat helpful. I am not sure if they are carrying them here.

But back in February when I went there last, they had Scheffleras then. so I'm crossing my fingers. c:

I bought 2 hibiscus that were about ready to bloom at home depot where i live for about $17 and they were about 2 ft tall, they also had hanging pathos that was well started for about 10

Same with my Home Depot, they had both the umbrella plants and a nice ficus plant. They also were carrying some hibiscus but I can never get them to work for me, neither of my chams really liked them anyways!

Awesome I am hoping that they have some this weekend! Summer's not over yet. ;)

Did you try a grow bulb on your hibiscus, I am hoping I have better luck with mine, It would be nice to get them to bloom every so often

They should! The employees were so confused with what plants I wanted they told me they didn't have them...neither of us realized they were indoor plants :D:rolleyes: They cost me about $10 each and are pretty tall, about 36inches tall.

Speaking of pay checks...next week I get to use mine on a vet visit. Oh joy

I just don't like them in general! Nor do I appreciate the blooming or the texture of the leaves, then again I'm what they call "special";) I just couldn't quite get them to grow much, I think the umbrella plant is pretty dumb proof and just grows like a weed. I've a weeping fig ficus and my guy loves to sleep in it. I always know where to find him :)

This paycheck, if I have enough left I will be taking a chameleon in for a check up. c:

Do they sell the growth bulbs at Home Depot or Lowes? I seem to have bad luck with Schefflera, but my ficus I can forget about and then it will have new buds on it on a daily basis. c: It still hasn't grown much since January.
