Home built cage and keeping insects in.

Hey guys! So I have a cage that I built for a chameleon that just passed away on Sunday. ??? While my favorite little guy was alive, I did have issues with keeping insects inside the cage! I came to find out that the insects would eat through the screen that I was using!! So, I was wondering if anyone has any idea what kind of material I could use to ensure that the insects won't be able to eat their way through. To make the cage, I bought all of the materials at Home Depot.

Aluminum screening. You need the metal kind.
The fabric style, like window screens, the crickets can chew through. I learned that the hard way too
